It was unveiled in May 1926 by the Imperial War Graves Commission for commemorated 4,000 officers and men of the Indian Army killed during the Sinai and Palestine Campaign during the First World War.
It was designed by Scottish architects,John James Burnet and Thomas S. Tait,and included sculptures by British sculptor Charles Sargeant Jagger.
You will see the Gulf of Suez and the South entrance of Suez Canal.
The memorial was destroyed by Israeli troops during the War of 1967
